Tryin' out snake anthros. I was asking my muse, and he said the body should be human-shaped, rather than elongated. 'Course..it wouldn't be snakey, then.

YARGH. Pointers, any one?

Hmm...

It is pretty snakey.  Perhaps, to lessen the inhuman aspect, you could try making the arms and legs a bit longer and thinner, to match.

Of course, that might end up looking spidery...

I'd have to agree with Dragyn, on the limbs.
But... there's also a few other things. I think that certain parts of the body should be a bit thinner, and others thicker. The shoulders are rather wide, for what I'd expect in something resembling a snake. Also, the hips are a little too slight, comparatively, with legs that are a bit short for that much body. (I'd be afraid of falling over, if I were her.) The hips should be a bit closer in proportion to the shoulders.

Narrow the shoulders to match the hips, more closely. That'll make her look both more humanoid and more snake-like.

Hmm...I did alter it, a bit..but I'll likely have to do a liiiittle more tweaking, before I ink it. Hurf...just been busy, with house-hunting, lately. O:

Yeah. We actually did buy one, but now it's stress-stress, trying to get some things packed, moved to storage, and put in boxes for a garage sell. D: Oh, it will be worth it, though. It's a really nice house. (it needs some work done, though..but that's part of the fun. :U)

......

I drawed a zombie:

As you can see, my scanner is one of the things I am, temporarily, without. D:

Did you use colored pencils for that?

Hmm...your camera seems to work quite well, though...

I did. :3

I recently bought a book, on anatomy..so I've been practicing, with that, some. However, it did not include undead anatomy..so I can't help but feel there's something just not quite right, about him. I can't quite place it, though; it might just be his clothes, looking too..clean. (he doesn't like dirty clothes, though..)

The green and black don't contrast very well.

I can barely see it on this monitor.

It was either that, or white. I still have the one, with the original background(my sketchbook..), so I'll most likely do a more worthy background, later. *shrug* It's all I could do, at 3:30 in the morning, when I finished it.

Heh.

I turned up the contrast and brightness on my monitor and saw it just fine. (Oh, and to explain, it might not have needed to be turned up on this monitor, but I always have those settings set to the lowest possibility, for myself.)

The visible bones were put together really well, also.   ;)
(Figured I'd say that'n in particular, seeing as that's often a difficult point.)
