Kheros!  He'll be showing up soon, so I wanted to sorta' finalize his look, and to practice sketching on the computer.   I think it worked rather well.

This is available through the PE Extras page, as always, in both 1024 x 768 and 800 x 600.  If you want a different size, let me know.

What ho? Art from Dragyn? =O

Har. Nice to see something new, and I think there's improvement every time you upload. =3 Anywho. Love the colors here....& I probably will have more to say when I get near a computer....>.>

Neat! ^_^

I have to agree with Fox.   ;)

How'd you get that neat, glowing diamond-thing around the orb?

Dragyn

Re: Magefire

The diamond glow...heh.

It's just a tile reflection on a copy of the base color layer for the orb itself...which means, I copied the circle to its own layer, and applied the "Tile Reflection" effect in Paint.Net.

I'm glad you think it's better--I made it on the computer, no pre-sketching involved.

Heh.   ;D

'Tis my background, now... ^_^

I miss having Paint.Net...   :P

Well, it's neat.

How'd Kheros get that scar-thing by his eye?

Dragyn

...

Do you really expect an answer?

And what of the similar scarring on his upper lip and right ear?

I was going to ask that it in steps... ':D
First I wondered if you'd not mind just telling me about one...
And maybe another wouldn't hurt... and then, what's one more? And then...
But, no, that never works, does it?   :P

And you showed extra detail where the light hits, most, on his fur and hair. Neat.   :)

I like Kheros, he looks cool.... ^_^
But then, so does Beastling, Rithiel, Ramjik, Thief, Dante, K'os... and, well... yeah...   :P

It's strange that I'm so familiar with so many of your characters, but I know barely anything about them... O.o

Sometimes scars are cooler if you don't know what happened. =3

Now that I have a computer, I'll do my part of just a tad of constructive crit. His right arm looks just a liiiiittle bit too short..and the top of his head seems to be a bit flat. 'Course..the computer I am on is a widescreen..so that might have a little to do with it. >.>

Nah, his arm is a bit short.  I do that far too often, actually.  As for his head, it is somewhat flat.  Not completely, but flatter than some.  It's not supposed to be, but it is.

I'm...er...glad you noticed?  It shows you actually care, which is good.

So about how long is it 'till Kheros shows up in PE?... ^_^
(No, the questions never end.)

Hmm...He should be showing up in about 2-3 comics. Maybe 4, at most.  The pacing is something I'm working on, so the length is a tad variable, at this point.

Hm...
So now I can start learning more about these characters that I know and know nothing about!   ;D

My sister only just started reading your comics - she told me so, just yesterday, and described them as funny. ^_^
Figured ya'd like to know, is all...

I wonder if she even knows if PE exists...

I find it amusing that Kheros is blue, here, and he's also in your avatar, as a grey-furred character.
I know it was already explained, I just find it amusing, because I'm strange that way.

I like this one... Love the color sequence...

Color sequence?  You mean my peculiar method of shading?  Or am I missing something, here?

As stated before, Faith, his fur changed from grey to blue, because I felt it worked better blue, and the "grey" was actually a blue pencil that scanned in as blue...

Heh,   ;D

I remember.   :)

Ya' know... I never knew the center bit of his eye was that color... wait... wasn't it blue, too?
