Blue-green, actually.  It always has been.  I actually took and copied the color from the first color sketch for that, so I can guarantee its accuracy.

Hm... but aren't they blue in the other pictures of him on the Internet?
Like your avatar, and the one that's on PE?
Or just a blue-green that turned out differently due to the choice of  pencils, or scanners?
Or am I just seeing 'em funny?...
