Hmm...resembles Phineas from Charby...only black instead of green.
Why do all artists call their work terrible? This is actually pretty good. Maybe a little more time on the shading would help, but it still looks cool.
As for the requisite critique:
Shading needs some time, but shows definite promise.
It's sorta' hard to see his other arm...it kinda' makes his body look deformed. Again, though, I think taking more time on it would have solved that.
I'd like to see this again if you ever rework it...reminds me of a few of my own characters...like Fiske Burn and his ilk...
Uh...you haven't met him yet...ignore that.
