Hmm...the light source for the top one should be the glowing lightning sphere, right?  So, why do all the shadows act like the light is coming from straight above her?

Other than that (and the leg thing, but I'll "shoosh" about that, now) the work looks good; the basic structures are there, and match your style, and the linework is clean.  I'm not really sure why her hair curves into her ear like that, but I've seen stylized hair do stranger things.

So yeah, nice piece, and good to see you spontaneously posting artwork again.

They're my characters.

I love fire. I use the flickering light of a candle, sometimes, as an example for light sources such as that. So it's kinda supposed to give off the effect of flickering....apparently, I failed at that. XD

Ah..hairstyle. I might have mentioned it before..but in case I didn't, I use a hint of Anime..like..Animerican. Mostly because I love those crazy hairstyles....so you should see some of my other characters. XD Alex and humanized Fox are my favorites. x3

They're...not from anything. ^^; I don't really have a set story or world that any of my characters should belong to. Several versions to fit in alternate dimensions, maybe, but not a world or story.

Hmm...have you ever considered putting some of them in a story/stories?

Not really. I write stories about them, sometimes, but they don't have their own world. Little weird..I guess....but I get confused otherwise. ^^;
