Okay, here's a question:

Is there just one of each colored star, and it's displayed X times, where X is the rank of the member, or is the row of stars all one picture?

If there's one of each star, you get a hierachy, where somebody get's promoted from Beastling to Dante', but if the whole thing is all one image, we could all start out with a Chad, and then get a Beastling, a Ramjik, a Dante', and a Gonador, added to the row as we level up.

Edit: They are, in fact, several pictures of the same star, not one picture with several stars in it.

I should apologize...
But my laughing won't making sound very sincere. XD

That general idea sounds pretty neat...
But that means we ought to get to work on those emoticons, if we want that, doesn't it?  
Hey, if we're doing something like that, maybe we could could just choose a character out of groups considered to be at certain ranks and kinda customize our variety of emoticons?...

Weren't we going to think up something between 1,000 posts and 5,000?...

Oh, and while we're talking about posts and ranks: congrats Fox.

Uh...unless each rank is made custom (as in, as a single image with the hierarchy of characters) I can't have more than one type of 'star' in there at a time.  It just repeats the one I chose.

Though there's some merit to the concept...

Hm... couldn't the images be combined to make on image, and then prevented from being repeated?

It was just a thought. I figured it when Bloodreaper gave his idea for rankings.
