Heh.
I usually just make or half-make things and then they find their way to somewhere.
If it's not that good or only partially acceptable (I like a part, a concept, a style, something...), which is the majority of them, I'll usually toss it or store it where I'll hardly ever see it.
Some things... if they're good enough... I'll share or give away.
Heh.
When I was little, at elementary school, I would sell drawings for quarters, nickels and dimes.
But I haven't really done "commissions" since then. XP
If I get paid for something, it was because they were nice enough to do so.
The funny thing is, though, apparently I wasn't the only one selling
my art in elementary school.
I would doodle things and give them to the vice principle, my teachers, my classmates... and just about anyone else, really. There were a lot of drawings to go around.
I recently learned that my vice principle would have them around, for a while... and then someone who came in regularly started just... buying them from her. O.o
Who?
Who knows.
Why...?
Continues to puzzle me.
I mean... I was in elementary school. Uh... anyone who wants to get silly squiggles from a kid could just hand some children paper and writing/coloring utensils and then come back and pick up after them. Squiggles galore... for FREE.
Oh, well, I guess.
Though... I've thought of commissions again, lately...
I could use some extra money... XP
Where/how do you guys suggest I try that...?
