*Laugh!!!*   :D

I think we can all wait for whenever/if ever you think to favor putting something in here... that's what everyone else is doing, with these. XD

Any ideas on what you'll do, first, if you decide to post "actual art" here?   ;D

Blood?

Okay. I know. That was bad.

*Snrk!* XD

Nah, not bad.
That actually seems rather suiting.   ;D

(And... that sounds bad, or morbid somehow... not the intention, honest. XD )

Actually, I think I'm going to do seeing red first, and there's not going to be any blood.

I saw you working on it earlier, so I didn't post then...

No blood, but plenty of fire.

And Fire solves everything...

Fully agreed.

As for the actual picture..nifty. :3 The colors seem very fitting, as Halloween draws closer.

*Laugh!!!*   :D

Well... not that this isn't disturbing or anything...   ;D
Though, uh, heh... I guess I have no room to speak. Seeing as I was one of the people burning candy-canes, last Christmas...   :P

...
This is a very interesting forum. XD

Oh, wait...
What Fox said about your picture's colors made me think of something...
(A couple posts and days later...)
It is almost Halloween... and that means... Halloween art...   :D

Right! I'll have to shelf my current pic, and do something more suited to the season.

Actually, since I tend to work on one pic, get bored/tired/hungry and then go off to deal with that, and then come back to start on an entirely different picture, this will probably worsen an existing problem.

Maybe I should start putting up the sketch versions and replace them when the full thing is done.

This is a boon to me for two reasons:

1. If I get too many irons in the fire you guys are likely to rag on me to go back and finish ones that you want to see, keeping me semi-organized.

2. I get to an excuse to show off my concepts without having to finish them first.

The drawbacks are likewise twofold:

1. You guys have to be exposed to a bunch of crummy old sketches, which will forever poison you against the finished work.

2. Finishing pics that receive minimal response are likely to be put off for finishing, meaning that by the time I'm down to three themes to finish (assuming such a thing even attempts to happen) they'll all be crummy pictures that I don't care about, and neither will you, so they'll just be a chore to slog through.

I suppose, I could always scrap the design, even after posting the sketch, but that seems like cheating somehow.    :-/

Heh. =J

Maybe you could just do one set aside for Halloween; even if you turn it in a bit late I bet we'd all be happy to see it. And then you can continue with what you're doing, right?
Besides. If you take a break away from the one for a bit, it might better the results.   :)
(I know I could use one from the bit I was trying to draw...   ;D    :P  )

As for posting sketches before drawings, well that's up to you.
You could just decide to do that with the ones you've a specific idea for, to show and keep track of them, if they come in bulk and you want to only actually attempt one at a time... that would eliminate the "chore" bit, I think.
Then you could also hear others' opinions before you finish it, so that you can benefit from their thoughts in advance, or to experiment with the prospect of another's ideas....

Nah. Anyone who makes sketches can appreciate them.   :D
And we'll like to see the finished bit, even after a sketch, I'm sure.   ;)

With Halloween in the long forgotten history books, and me completely out of enthusiasm for that pic, I'm going to seriously think about getting back to work on these.

I gotta get my style more consistent, before I can start a comic, and this is a fine place to start.

Is there anything specific that you'd like to see my take on?

I'm at a cross between Innocence, because I've not really seen you draw much like that, and Insanity, becuase I have seen you draw a lot of interesting things and I bet that would be a good one for you to start with.
Also, I already had an idea for both of them, and I want to see what someone else would come up with.   ;D

Is'at okay?
