Right. What used to be the one topic keeping the forum alive is giving me the dead thread warning when I go to post to it. Possibly a sign of trouble, but I'm pushing forward anyway.

The main wizard at the MUCK I was created at maintains a community access quote file for enjoyable reading. I could just link it since he always asks people's permission before quoting them, but instead I'll just grab something featuring myself as a kind of introduction.

Last night, the third installment of Hero Quest rolled out for Billy versus Snakeman.
This installment was VERY text extensive... and given the personality of some of these characters there were more than enough contributions to this thread if you look for them.

You step through, and the moment the alternate reality of the Fields resolves, you are greeted by [Spoiler Redacted]'s leering grin. With a flash, his sword plunges into your forehead - and you don't feel a thing.

"Hmph. That didn't work. Will remember that for next time."

Of course that's more crazy psychopath. Here's just some crazy silly.

"...it would blow your mind. Seriously, pah-SHOOM." She waves her arms around.

"Oh, man, I bet you are going to look SO cool. We all look cool, when we're On. It is part of the package deal! Wait, wait.. this is going to be," she laughs at her own joke, "heh, this is going to be Awesome!"

Hmm... of course that last one only works in context of the world at large. Still, hopefully you're suitable entertained.

There were parts of BvS that I really, really loved, but eventually I basically beat all the cool stuff I had access to and I didn't feel like grinding enough to get to the good stuff.

Plus, it is the kind of game that asks for 30 seconds a day at level 1 season 1, and by season 18 it takes an hour a day, just to deal with all your daily crap you need to farm to keep up.

Plus, my time is contrained to the point that I had to make some hard choices. would I rather play BvS, or would I rather hold on to the hope of someday seeing SW released with sprites that aren't crap?

This show is basically what happens when you make an entire series out of the zany filler episodes of Teen Titans. The art style is simpler and cheaper, but also much more consistent. Also, I like all the little nods to people who watched the last series.
