But how the fact that PE is in a preexisting world-build?

Pending Else takes place in a world, with preexisting characters, places, etc.

Beastling, for the most part, is just made up as I go along.  Sure, I know where he'll end up, but the specifics are, deliberately vague, so I have some freedom to be weird.

It's all about the feel of the thing, really.

I think that bazooka thing just made me like Mysterious a whole lot more. X3 I also really like the bat-to-Vapyr effects, there.

Glad you liked the effects.  Took me a bit to decide how to do them, and then they took a lot longer than expected.

Ah, the bazooka thing...the Agent has style, I'll grant him that.

Hm... the Sanctuary Keep must be pretty large, 'cuz it's rather well-sized, there, and the trees are just blurs on the horizon.

Semi-transparent Paintbrush, layered on top of itself, though it's all contained in one layer...assuming that made any sense to you...

The Agent is wearing big, heavy boots.  They have no laces or straps, just thick padding along them.  You can see them a bit better here.  That's what you're seeing as wrappings.

Sanctuary is pretty big, yes.  It's also on a hill, and the trees are behind the hill a bit.

I particularly like  the radial gradient behind the panel with the explosion.

I'm imagining a lot for the shap-shift, but then you tend to use a lot for details, anyway.
