True...especially considering that the characters came before the story.  Well, most of 'em, anyway.

I think that the characters in this comic are neat.   ;)
They're interesting and have great reactions and personalities.   :)

I also think making up characters is a fun part of making up stories.   ;D
You get to give them their own details and stuff, make them different and likable or dis-likable, whatever you want.

I like the funny part.   ;D

So, he's not evil - yet he sends people to chase his son's friends, brandishing sticks?
Is that stick more of a staff, or a magical staff, or a poky, harmful object?

And what is "it?"
The "it" that almost collapsed when he knocked himself out on the water pipes?
And where are these water pipes?

So --- the blue guy doesn't say a lot?

Is that because he's a ghost?
Or is it just because he's just not saying anything in this update?
Am I going to find out later?

Cool comic.  I'm liking it so far.  Love the concept of a wolf/dragon hybrid race.  And Beastling just looks plain cool.

"What did your father give you, Beastling?"

"A chain and a portent of doom.  Goodnight, Mom."

Ha ha!

The story seems to drag a bit after the first few pages, but things start to pick up when you start showing off some interesting characters.  Also like the good ol' fashioned hand coloring.

Pretty good job.  I'll be checking back for more updates!

Hey Virmir!

Nice to see a face from the Xepher.net forum!  I know it dragged a bit, which I regret.  I'm not going to go back and change it, though, if only so I can see how much better I've gotten.

Again, good to see you.

I thought so!   :D

And - I got you to tell me!
'Course, you probably didn't really care this time... otherwise you wouldn't have said.

I would ask if the dragons are going to send them after something else, now - but, I bet you won't tell me this time, because I said I got you to tell me about the place... and it might be different this time.
