We had a kitten recently that didn't know what to respond to; we all called it different things--so it didn't respond at all.

The dog is Tank, Tankerbell, Tinkerbell, Tink, Bell, Pup, Puppy, Dog, Mutt, Bad Dog,  Rose killer, Chicken murderer, Garden masher, Pig-dog, Dog-pig, Curly-q and much, much more...
She's just as confused, I think.
I just call her Pup. But, if there's another Pup, I'll start calling her Dog, too...
(I do that with most generally nameless pups at our house.)

What are all the names that you guys called that kitten?

Kitten, Alien, Moogle Demon, Demon Kitten, Hairless, Fleabag, Rodent, Rug, In the Way, Unidentified Flying Object, Ugly Hat, Boxed Kitten, Runt, Monster, Cat, Kitty, It, Thing...

Those are all I can think of, though there were more.
