Oh. Heh...   :D
Thanks for letting me know that.   :)

Hm...
That's interesting.
So, they've become more alike over time, or?...
Which one came out first?

What's the MS stand for?

Uh...see my last post.  I already said what MS means...

Paint.net and Photoshop have been similar since the first time they both existed.  Photoshop came first, so most tend to accuse Paint.net of copying it.

Oops, sorry... must've been dropped from thought.

I see. That's a odd bit of information...
Now, and not for the first time, I will wonder how you've figured that out.
Are Paint.net and Photoshop very recent things?

Paint.net is fairly recent.  Photoshop keeps getting updated, but it's been around for awhile, otherwise.

I see...

Well, I guess I should just be happy to have free access to one (once I get it figured out.)
Is Photoshop free, too?

Photoshop is several hundred dollars, actually.  Not what I'd call free...

Yikes!!!
Why would someone even use Photosop if they have access to Paint.Net? Is one different in some almost unotable, important way?

No matter, that probably doesn't help Paint.Net's case...

Why is one so expensive and the other free?

Photoshop is "professional."

Paint.net is "freeware."  Some people fear freeware, I don't know why.

Because it sometimes comes with Spyware. I've paid the price for freeware like that. :/

Dad got PhotoShop 7 for free, actually. Not sure how, though.

Huh... the dog is eating burs...

Can't you look it over before you use it, or something?
What is Spyware?

Spyware is computer software that is installed surreptitiously on a personal computer to intercept or take partial control over the user's interaction with the computer, without the user's informed consent
~According to Wikipedia.

I couldn't think of a good way to explain it. XD

Or, because they want to make money, and think that if they watch what you do, they can figure out what to advertise.

It tends to copy files and things off your computer and send it to them, especially your internet "history" and "bookmarks" and suchlike.

Bloody awful stuff.  I hate it.

I'll just double post here:

We'll add 3 stupid points to your total, Faith.  I can add to the total shown below your "stars" in your info box.  (Left of your posts).

Once Arc is back, Well set his to 6 (or more), I think.  I'll probably give him bonus Karma, too.  (Yes, I can do that)

I think I get 5 for deleting him in the first place...

Sorry, Arc.   I do things like this on occasion.
