Sadly, when I first saw the button, I read it as "120"

I think your link is broken.  It links to a cataract eye surgery site.

 :P

Let me fix that for you...

EDIT:  Fixed it.

Impressive.  Very impressive, indeed.

Th'hay?

Edit: appearently, if you mistype the file name in a Forumsigs link, they just fill in the space with context sensitive ads.

Sneaky.

This started as an expression and color study, but I kind of ran out of enthusiasm for that and stared doing other things as I went along.

Only the line art in the center panel, the special effects in the bottom panel, and the borders are actually black. Everything else is just very dark colors.

It's easiest to tell with the bottom panel, because the black glow makes the brown show up, but the other outside panels are also colored.

No, actually, Bro.  There was no Forumsigs link anywhere in your post.

is what you had...

Apparently, just typing "eyes" into the address bar forwards you to a context-sensitive ad, though.

Really? Hmm.

I wonder how they got that into the DNS system.

Money talks, I guess.

Note to self: Thinking about a comment, is not the same as actually commenting.

Hm...yes. That is pretty cool. I'm quite fond of the middle one.

It actually aggravates me.

The afterimage streaks should be purple, not green. What was I thinking?

Plus I didn't plan it out too well, so it really disrupts the theme, which is a bad thing to do in the center panel.

Double posting for great justice!

I've been taking some time today to get back into spriting.

It's a skill I put a lot of  time into as a kid, but stopped bothering to practice, when the world fell in love with 3D.

Anyway, I've put my first three frames into a cheap little .gif, to see how they fit, and I figured I'd toss it out.

These tiny, simplified images are a great way to draw a lot of poses quickly, so it's good practice for sketching.

Building an entire sprite sheet also helps get a feel for the way a character moves.

If I don't land a job, or see something  shiny, I'll expand this into a longer (and higher frame rate) sequence, and maybe add some other characters, too.

It's equally probable that I'll go and work on my card set (which has been re-thought to the point it doesn't use any of the cards I've posted) or something new.

Ooo...

What is "spriting?"
Making a moving image out of a bunch of imobile ones?
I tried to do that once... XD
I didn't want to download anything, though, so...   :P
Heh.

It's neat.

*Laugh!!!*   :D

It'd be neat to see more, whatever you're doing.   :)

Spriting is making sprites.

2D images for use as computer graphics.

It implies precision pixel art, but I've cheated a bit and used Paint.NET's line tool.

I'm using a default color palette, in order to evoke the feel of an older sprite, but I don't think that would actually be necessarily  nowadays.

I probably won't use these for anything. I'm just in it for the nostalgia.

Heh.   :D

Well, I like it, nonetheless.
Hm... does it have a theme among the 100 Themes?

Um... maybe?

I'll assign it to one of the hard ones, later, if it ever get's done enough to feel like it's worth counting.
