Okay, so am I really that destructive to conversation?
Every time I say something in a topic, it dies. :o
If ya'll want me to shut up, say so, I don't mind. But I was already at the edge of insanity and this is pulling me in! So either give me a good shove over or tell me you're busy or something!!! :P
Okay, so that was only a slight mental lapse... ::)
But really. Do we have so little to talk about? :'(
I'll throw in a few more topics to stir up a bit... but this is supposed to be a site meant for word-by-word conversation.[/b] ;D

As stated in the plushie topic, I'm trying to start on commissions. I've been working hard, to get my art up to par..and I'm trying to get better at sculpting/plushie making.
'Cause yeah..I really need to find a way to make money..and this seems to be my best bet. (since I've had so many people ask for art/shirts, and stuff..)

Yeah, to make money I'm thinking I'll resort to berry picking and firewood... :P
Either that or I could go into some other things... I'm not sure how this will go. Like, I have multiple ideas for landscaping projects, but everyone's doing that and no one would want to hire a sixteen year old... everyone's doing huckleberry and firewood...
Ah, well. I have to go now. Heh.

I don't think you posting is the cause of all the thread death.
You're just trying to stir up some action in a slow time, and as a result, all the most recent posts are yours.
Early in my internet forum career, I came to a similar conclusion about the same correlation in another forum, but the cause and effect flows the other way.

Heh. I got my pig home for 4-H, X-C, job-hunting, putting small children in bags and hanging them from doorknobs...
Okay, that last one isn't as bad as it sounds. She was asking for it.
And yes, I did just make that sound worse... ... ...
Also, a person requested that I illustrate a children's book for peanut allergies. That's kinda different.
She probably doesn't know my history of bagging children.
Does anyone have any suggestions for that? Not the children-bagging part.
Mostly in the form of what I should do to cover brand names in that little book. :P
See, I already drew it up, but I wasn't really thinking, and I used brand names, like Reeses, Ritz Bitz, Snickers and Planters Peanuts, with the peanut man wearing the top hat... I really wasn't thinking. ::)

I don't really find it all that interesting, personally. Since I've seen it posted, everywhere..I've probably spent a grand total of 10 minutes on it. >.>;

Eh, I'm a writer, and so are most of the people who get hooked on Tropes.
This is essentially a place for writing geeks to geek out about the things that make writing what it is:
Tropes, and the way people react to the various juxtapositions thereof.

I write..I just also happen to have ADD. Nothing really holds my attention, very long..(I probably have 2 dozen unfinished artworks..)

I just don't think I'm a very good writer so I don't share what I write. :P
When I think someone will read it, I get really nervous and do something wrong to it, as a result... when no one is going to read it, well... I'm a very strange person and so that is kinda shown in the writing. T.T
I've had friends read what I wrote up before, and they said they liked it all right, but they also said it sounded like an older person wrote it, in a somewhat disapproving way. Sure, we were both about 14, but chances are that the gap will have gotten worse, since then.
I never really thought it was a bad thing, for a book to be like that. I actually tend to prefer books like that, most of the time. But that means that even if I ever wrote something I thought acceptable for someone to read, my peers would never want to read it, and I can only imagine that the younger generation will be less likely to want to. :P
I don't have ADD, but I am always very busy... it's kind of exhausting... XP
So... I rarely if ever have any finished artwork. ::)

I don't write, for other people. I write because it's something I enjoy doing. Sure, I never actually finish anything..but it passes the time. If other people like it, fine. If they don't..so be it.

Well, after he finished singing, he sounded rather depressed when he was talking about his quilt at some quilt-fair or something, because no one was astonished by the glory of his little blanket. :P
I think he needs new hobbies. Or maybe another outlook on life. XD
