Title: TACTICUS
Post by: bloodreaper on February 07, 2009, 09:21:00 PM
Reap ye, the fruits of my having too much time on my hands and vist this link:

I give you: TACTICUS (http://www.bay12games.com/forum/index.php?topic=572.0)!

I got pointed to it from: The Hall of Legends! (http://www.bay12games.com/forum/index.php?topic=19294.0)

The best explanation I've seen is this one:

"Tacticus can be a challenging game. Just pretend you know the rules and in accordance with Appendix E of the Emergency Rulebook of Anti-Confusion, if you pretend that you understand the rules and that you know what's going on, it is assumed that your moves are legal by default." --Sylverone

It may be unduly hard to learn the game by reading this log, as the Pantshelm variant rules are skinned in Dwarf Fortress themes.

Anyone fancy a few rounds?

I'm actually a bit behind in my school stuff, so I'll have to pass, at least for now.

S'cool.

It's a good read, if nothing else.

--for the first 15 or twenty pages, anyway.   :P
