I'll bet you can't guess what I've been doing all day the past two days.

*Laugh!!!*   :D

Yeah...   ;D
I want to draw. O.o
But I also want to read...
Meh, nothing a compromise won't cure.   :)
*Scuttles away to do both, after one quick PM.*

Wall of text? X3

That's the most fun on my tablet..is writing. I can finally use my own handwriting instead of some font.

*Laugh!!!*   :D

Well, no... I was gonna' draw, and read, for some short period of time...
But, uh... turns out I can't stop doing one, or the other, when I really get into it...   :P
(I read my book first.) >.<

My I ask what exactly you mean by that?
(Your own handwritting, rather than some font...?)

I mean I can write things as I do on paper, instead of using some cheesy font I downloaded.

Heh.   :)

Well, you know, sometimes cheesy fonts are fun...   ;D

But, that would be good as well...

True. Like the Scooby-Doo, Invader Zim and Calvin & Hobbes fonts. X3 So much fun, those are.

I'll have to take your word for that.   ;D

I've never heard of films being advertised by fonts...
Is that something they just started doing?
Or are there a bunch of fonts on the web that advertise films and other such things, that I simply don't know about?...

Nah. They're just around for nerds like me. X3

Heh... er, okay.   ;D
Where, exactly?

Various sites. 1001 Fonts is the place I go most often, but usually I just do a search for a specific font, not paying attention to the website it's on. XP

I believe Dragyn told me how to download fonts, off of the Internet... but I believe I tried it, and it didn't work.   :P

How do you get fonts off of the Internet?

You just hit the download button from a font site. You might have to specify Windows or Mac, though.

...
Huh? O.o

Where's the button?

Hm..I can't really say..'cause I don't know on most sites. On 1001 Fonts, it says "Win TruType". Might be the same on other sites.

...
?

I'm slightly confused...
The way one person suggested I get fonts from the Internet involved right-clicks, so this explanation is new to me. Would it just be a button by the desired font, or somewhere else on the web page, or something like that?

I'd have to show you in steps, probably. Let's just go with 1001 Fonts, though.
http://www.1001fonts.com/ (http://www.1001fonts.com/)
Okay. There's the link. Now just select whatever type of font you'd like,(brandname, cartoon, grafiti, etc.) click on that and browse through untill you find one you like. Where it says "Download: Win TruType", click the "Win TruType". (unless you have Mac, if that's the case click the lower) When the pop-up..pops..up..click "save".

Then to install, you'd have to find the folder it saved it. You unzip(should say "Extract all files") the files, and when it tells you where you want to save it, find "Fonts". (My Computer - Local disc C - Windows - Fonts) And that's it. =3

Just a note, though. I'm not telling you to download anything. XD Just showing you how to go about doing it if you wanted to. 1001 Fonts is more trustworthy than other, but you should use extreme caution when downloading fonts anywhere. (even this site) A lot of free fonts come with spyware risks.

Hm...

How much space does it take, to download a font? Shouldn't be much, but... well, I won't know otherwise. ':)

I don't think it takes up too much. There again, I have a pretty big harddrive..or..whatever. XD I think I've downloaded about...50 or so? I think I might lay off for a while, though, because my anti-spyware thing is expired. (it'll still sweep though..HAH! I cheated. =D)

Heh.   :)

Well... okay, then.
(Maybe I'll use this as an oppurtunity on the school computer.)   :P
(It's far more organized, anyway...)
