Full-beard with an extended point that used to be a long goatee.

Hair reaches to the points of my shoulder blades, in my ponytail.

mohawk was once 6 inches, had to cut it because of a loss of hair products, pitty it's only maybe an inch now.

It comes with cost in daily maintenance, but my wife basically chatted me up over it, so there's that point in it's favor.

Before I get my hair cut to start growing it out, i've just put my mohawk it 7 small liberty spike like ponytails using really small hair bands.

 yep, today marks the start of something I don't know anything about. I've never had long hair, I don't know how long Its going to take to get it there, and I don't know what color its going to be. plus whats good to spike long hair. (dont say hairspray, I don't have the patients.) :-[

My hair used to be pretty long.  Remember that it'll get longer if you keep it pulled back in a ponytail or otherwise contained--long hairs catch on seatbacks and suchlike and break off, so containing them protects them so they get longer faster.

Just remember to brush it, or you'll have a tangled mess.

I would also suggest having the ends trimmed occasionally, if they start to split or anything, or if they don't grow out evenly.  Just to keep it looking nice.

i'm not one to wait for a lot, but i've never had long hair so I thought it was time.

not sure why or how much thought I put into this but i'm bleaching my hair on friday. its still short so the only thing I can compare it to is eminem, i'll put it as my profile pic if all goes well.

i'll give you the short end of it. didn't look right, bed-head.
long story short, blonde mohawk, plus today I used hair paint to do a rainbow mohawk. looked great. sorry 'bout the long hair but I stick to what I know. I'll still grow the mohawk out look at old pics of phil anselmo- singer for pantera/down.

My hair is fianlly long enough to rock some crazy nordic braids, but these days I don't really have time to do more than throw my hair into a ponytail.
