GFWL was giving away Age of Empires 3 for ten cents a few days ago.

With the horror stories floating around, I'm actually kind of glad I don't have a dime to spare.

Anyway, this just came to me, so I sketched it up and uploaded it. Bam! Just like that.

If that kitty eats all that turkey, it'll explode.

No.

You will not import any sort of invasive wildlife into this country.

I'll turn you in, and see to the destruction of the specimens personally. I am not kidding.

Invasive imported animals are a very serious problem, and you don't need to make it any worse.

--and now some gems from Elona (a graphical roguelike with a mild death penalty, and limited save loading).

DW: I found a corpse of little girl here, but I don't know where it came from. I'm going to eat it anyway, since it's made of human flesh, which is my favorite food, apparently.

G: That game is so messed up.

DW: I didn't really think about that until after I said it.

----

From my output console:

"The town child drinks a potion. It's sulfuric acid!
The sulfuric acid burns the town child from the inside.
The town child is melted away."

This game has some dark moments.

It should; you've seen the sketches, boss.

This image has taught me another valuable lesson; I think the guard on this giant chainsword I'm designing needs to be more... angular.

I've been thinking muscle car, when I needed to be thinking tank; less hot-rod, more Caterpillar.

No hordes of anything slimy! None! No!

Curse you creeping things of the Earth, my multitudinous weaknesses.

Either one could use a contrasting background, to pop him out.

That must get terrible gas mileage.

How do you manage to make things fearsome and endearing at the same time?

Is thee some trick to it, or do you just have to have the knack?

I like Wolf One better, because his colors aren't so much part of the background, and his fill seem more smooth.

The semi-colon is the greatest punctuation mark; it denotes the way I actually talk.

I've been re-reading the tournament arc in Dragon Mango. It's pretty quotable.

Mango: "I am not irresponsible! I didn't abandon the letter! I'll have you know I left it with the accident-prone eight-year-old, I was supposed to be babysitting.

Claw: Would his highness the king, desire a sandwich, also?

King Citrus: NAY! Your king wishes a fruit pie of some sort! This I command!

I've developed a new method for sketching that is much faster and yields much smoother animations.

Plus, having all the previous sketches made these sketches go a lot faster.

Now comes the really tricky part. The stage 3 sketches is where I have to start mimicking DW's style of color, and shading.

Also, he looks so good stretched that I'm thinking about shortening his arms like that in the regular version.

EDIT:

I thought I knew how to do this, but apparently this board is different. How do I resize the image in my avatar?
