It's cute. ;D
Heh... he's kinda yellow, too. :)
We have a cat that some of my family wanted to call Homer... he watches T.V. and drinks. ::)

That little critter is a suger glider. :3 My dad's girlfriend gave her to us because she & her daughter couldn't keep her because she went wild. XD *hugs her* I love Scout, though. <3
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
Yes... well it's very cute in a way that would terrify my grandmother. Hehehe...
It reminds me of another form of Alien...
I think I'll put that stuff of the pets at my house, now...

I hate that thing... I wouldn't even give it a second thought if it didn't do that!!!
I'm gonna listen to The Llama Song... nothing drowns out angry thoughts (or any thoughts and/or sense) like that song! Who could be angry at something like a word block while listening to that song!?!

Winter isn't my favorite season... but at least it helps Chica's Lupus. :)
And here's something extra that makes me think of The Llama Song:
http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p292/Faith39_2006/hilarious.jpg (http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p292/Faith39_2006/hilarious.jpg)
Wow, that's a lot of pictures...
-
I'll look at those sometime when I actually have time...
You folks have lotsa' pets, ya' know that?
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
I got about three tunes stuck in my head through the duration of that....
Yes.. I like animals.
But, to be honest, a lot of those are other pictures of the same animal.
And we're only getting more. ;D
I want to get some other critters when I get a barn! My mom really likes goats, and I think it'd be nice to get her one... also, my grandma, as I said before, needs to get rid of her llamas... if I can, I'd like to take two, at the least.
My grandpa said he hated Yo-yo... but he really liked him. :)
When it came time to sell Yo-yo, he said it was the truck's fault he couldn't, even though it was an easy-fix problem.
Do you like animals/pets?
-
Oo, such pretty kitties! *hugs them* We used to have a bunch of dogs & cows & whatnot when we lived in Sargent, then we moved to a smaller place. :/ Although now that I have my own room I'm really starting to get into exotic reptiles. <3 Fun. Some I want to get next is a bearded dragon, a vieled chameleon & a frilled lizard. =3 (they're uber expensive, though. -_-)
-
Little Orange appreciates your hugs, and hangs around to get more attention and see if you have any food. Little Grey thanks you, and then tries to esape. Boy cat yowls and runs. Shay purs for your contentment, while secretly begging for escape.
This is my imagined reaction, by their personalities.
Bearded dragons are awsome!
My 6th grade teacher got one from a student, and kept it at school. We (my class) got to play with it a lot! The feeling of it's belly and claws as it crawled up my arm was cool...
I pity the poor lizard, though...
He got loose and nobody ever saw him again, dead or alive, from what I'd heard. But, I'm wondering if the janitor found him, and didn't want to let the students know, or something, ya' know?
That teacher's a great guy. I got to take duck and chicken eggs to his class, and hatch them in his incubator.
My friend got fish and brought them to school. Guppies!
Anyway, good luck getting your bearded dragon, vieled chameleon and frilled lizard. ;)
-
Reptiles are cool and all, but I doubt there's anywhere I could keep them...
Good luck with your pets!
-
Heh... yeah. :)
The temperature requirments can be murder.
I remember when I was looking into getting a reptillian pet...
When I grow up, I'll have reptile pets! *-*
Hehehe.... that'll be the day... :P
-
Yeah. A lot of care sheets say you'll murder them if you don't have the EXACT kind of lighting it tells you to, but I just stick a 60 watt in a lamp & there we go. XD My geckos didn't have lights at all & they lived their full lifespan. Though with more fragile animals like iguanas it's best to go by the books. >.>
If you get any sort of lizard..don't get a basilisk. Those things are the most hyper creature God created. @.@
-
Is that so? Certainly don't need one of them, then. My siblings provide enough in the "hyper" department.
-
(http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/6742/dscn2727bl9.jpg)
Hydra: OMFG *jumps ten feet back & runs away in a spazz*
Koopa: *just looks at me*
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
I think something like a python, or a corn snake would be really neat. ;D
The most hyper, you say?
I'll take that as a sure sign that you haven't met my sister... or me with an energy drink... mwahahaha.....
-
You three should get together, then. XD
-
Heh. :D
That'd be entertaining....
-
More scary than entertaining, if you ask me...
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
Nothing seems to harm your sense of humor. :)
Yes, yes it would be...
But quite enjoyable to me. Until, that is, it came to the caffeine crash....
-
Caffiene does nothing to me. It's the sugar that gets to me. @.@ WOO. I mean..really..I only ate a small chocolate cake yesterday & had the giggles ALL DAY today! XD
-
I reach extremes...
Either really hyper, or really tired.
But it's usually the first...
I guess it depends on what's going on and how much caffeine is involved.
Some people know this better than others... since they've seen both reactions.
Once, I was extremely hyper, flying right out of my chair, and speaking gibberish, and, too bad for him, he was sitting right beside me... then the other time I fell asleep on him. He happened to be sitting next to me on both occasions, actually...
I wonder just how well he remembers this. :)
*Sigh...*
Good memories... ;D
-
Caffine affects me. I just don't generally let it. I don't drink coffee and I rarely drink tea, despite its deliciousness. Kind of a pity, since I have access to vast variety of teas. But eh, I don't wanna be hooked on anything. I have enough problems without an addiction, too.
I currently own a snake. I used to own two gerbils. The snake did not eat the gerbils. :P
-
XDDD That reminds me..I should get some pinky mice for Merlin.
ANYWHO! I actually live on caffiene..so I likely built up an immunity to it. O.o ('cause Dr Pepper & green tea are my LIFE SOURCES!)
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
I know people that practivaly run off of coffee.
Makes me think of that shirt that says, "Instant human, just add coffee."
Some "pinky mice?"
Interesting decrsiption of mice. :)
It didn't? What happened to 'em?
-
Pinky mice are very young mice that haven't grown their fur yet. They're generally used as feeder mice for small or young snakes. I don't remember what they look like very well, because I haven't had to feed my snake those kind of mice in...um... 9 years or so.
The gerbils got sick and died, one after the other. They were a pair of males, quite used to each other. I don't think living alone suited the last gerbil too well, so we buried them side by side.
-
Ah, that's sad...
Well, I know that bunch on baby mice. I just think "pinky mice" is a funny way to describe them.
I remember having seen them before...
The first time, I was with my sister and another, younger girl, and we found them in a shop, or something. We took them to show them to people (stupid, I know... poor mice) and some guy said he wouldn't hurt them, but he ended out tossing them in some tall grass. I didn't like that guy... :P
-
All of our pets just seem to end up showing up...
the ones that die either died of old age, or were so dumb it was expecting.
-
Heh. :)
We had one that was strangled by it's own mother, one that died of illness, one that died in a dog-fight, couple of highway incidents, disappearance, one animal that thought the other tasted good ended out killing off quite a few, and some other things I don't care mentioning.
It's sad to be the one that finds them... the first time I did, it was the family dog. Then my first dog...
He was the one that died by his own mother's restless pulling when they were tangled together. I told my dad they were too close... but I guess I wasn't taken seriously, or something.
This is a depressing subject, isn't it?
-
Very. o.o
On a happier note!
http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/2526/dscn5036uc1.jpg (http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/2526/dscn5036uc1.jpg)
I wanted to get some macro shots of Merlin(since I don't have a macro lens for the Alpha yet), so I was toying around with my Nikon & he gave me this adorable look here. =^.^=
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
He's a pretty cool lookin' little lizard. :)
I like lizards...
I've already said that.
How long have you been getting reptilian pets?
-
Reptiles!
Cute Reptiles!
If Spoiled ever returns, she may go ballistic.
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
What kind of lizard is that, again?
-
I've had reptiles my whole life. I started just with the common green anoles, then I got an iguana when I was..6 or 7. Now that I have the money I'm going into exotics, as mentioned.
And Merlin's the Chinese Water Dragon. =3
~edit~ Woohoo! 100th post! XD
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
Congratulations.
I've gotten to...766!
That's quite a few more than I thought I had...
I guess I talk a lot. :)
Green anoles?
What're they like?
-

I miss Randy so muuuuch. ;_;
-
What happened to Randy?
-
He died of old age. He was 10 or so.
-
I'm sorry...
When did that happen?
-
I wish my pet snake was allowed in college... Lesigh.
-
~A few years ago.
~That's why I'm doing home-college. I couldn't live without my animals. :/
-
Ya' know what that means?
I'm, like, the youngest one here...
I feel very immature, all of a sudden.
So now there's a *Le sigh?*
-
Yes. I make odd noises. That one happens to be spoken, though, which is why it lacks parenthesis or asterisks.
-
heh.
Immature, just 'cause you aren't in college? Yeah, right. I've met people here less mature than you.
Seriously...some guy almost hit us on his way here...guy shoulda' got up sooner. I don't need another wreck.
-
Yeah, Faith. I'm 18 chronologically, but 12 at heart. XD
"Le' gasp!" is fun, too. X3
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
14, I mean... 15 chronologically, at heart, I'm too immature to even know how old I am. :)
(I'm going to do that a lot, now... it was so much easier when I didn't know how old I was. I remember, at around three, wondering... "How old am I?" and deciding it didn't matter, and it didn't. :) Good memories...)
I feel very sorry for you, now... people less immature than me? :P
He shoulda' and I'm pretty shure he woulda' if he knew what was best for him.
I'm surrounded by people with French-accented reactions... ;D
-
Indeed you are. Did you le gasp at the realization?
-
(blinks) Huh... I would have pegged you for older than that. Which just means you're doing pretty darn well.
Actually, I have tons more reactions, such as: "eep" "mrow" "beh?" and "hrrrrsk!" Most of which aren't French.
-
Me, too. o_o
Most of my words have become widely used around the internet. Such as "wonky", "blarglesnorch" & "le' gasp!". "Le' gasp!" is likely a coincidence..but I've been saying that since I was a wee lass..so I can at least say I started it. XD
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
Actually, I "Le' Laughed."
Geez that sounds lame... :P
I think I said something wrong...
I was all happy that I caught myself before saying, "24... 15," and then I said I felt sorry for Dragyn for dealing with people less immature than me...
Something sounds wrong with my statement.
Stupid points? :D
Well, yeah. I thought it said something about that on here...
I know I had to say how old I was to join.
(I was just the right age, at the time! ;D )
Hm... but now that I think of it, it doesn't say anything about you guys's age on here. So, I guess it should'a been more obvious.
How old're ya'll, anyway?
(I have standard reactions... all I've got is that I can type in accents, and present them better that way than in person. :P I wish I could speak in accents... they sound fun!)
-
For those you who don't know what Faith is trying to say here...uh...neither do I. Sorry.
I tend to lapse into a speaking accent at random, and for no obvious reason. My mother's co-workers seem to find this greatly amusing...
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
First I was noting my spelling errors, on my earlier reply. Then I was talking about how I'd thought that the forum told other how old they were, unless told otherwise, or something. Then I realized I'd never seen the age of anyone else on here, before, so how should I expect others to know how old I was? After that, I asked how old everyone was, anyway.
And then there was that bit about accents.
Heh... I think it's funny, too. ;D
And entertaining.
As well as impressive...
I don't think I can make the sounds right, to sound like a particular accent, or anything... but then, I've never really tried around other people. I suppose I think I'll sound, er... weird or something, maybe... which is strange, because I am not afraid of other's thinking me silly, or stupid or anything.
(Jitters... I get those too easily. They prevent me from doing a lot of things, too...)
Once my friend said I should have an accent, because of the way I talk. She actually thought that my lack of an accent was amusing... it was supposedly because I'd said, "Pity, that." a lot.
-
I am 18, actually. 19 fairly soon, of course.
-
I don't know why you'd think I was older, still...
-
I had guessed something between 16 and 18, I suppose. Spastic you may be on occasion, but that's possible for any age. (shrugs) Well, my judgement of age isn't spectacular, but there's something about you despite everything else that mislead me.
-
Spastic is a good term, for it... ;D
Perhaps the way I use words does not seem like the style most commonly found among those sharing my age?
Anyway... aside from my strange self, what is the favorite holidays of everyone here?
(I've covered up one of my many forms of insanity with one of the more childish, which may fall most into the "spastic" category you just referred to... and no, I will not bother giving details about why I say there was another form of insanity I was showing, previously. Unusual, some may agree, considering my tendency to delve into the details of things.)
-
My birthday.
Back on the pet subject....God, help me. I'm about to put nail caps on Penny.
-
I like Christmas... because of the meaning of the holiday and
Who's Penny?
Why do you have to do that? Does she claw people/objects you do not wish to be damaged?
-
That cat is all claws. She did okay, actually. I think I'll wait to do her back feet later. >.>
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
So, if you picked her up, she'd claw you?
Another evil cat... :P
-
Yeah. Not because she's mad, though. She liked to scratch expensive leather products, too.
Penny did okay. Now it's Sammie's turn. There will be blood. I..am actually afraid.
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
Well, wish I could be there, to help.
There's a strange cat, here, that's extra clingy and weird (we are suspecting it's because of his being bottle-feed while he was a kitten) and now he drools and kneads while sucking on things when he's happy. We've been trying to break him out of it... (I don't know how to, that well, though, since he's a cat, not a dog, ya' know?)
Do you have any cats that do that?
-
Yes. Most of them do. They knead (more often than not) because they've been taken from their mother too soon. As for the drooling bit, a lot of cats do that when they're happy. No particular reason, really.
Sam did okay, btw. Better than Penny, actually. I had to sit on Penny. XD
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
Yeah, whenever we have "rescues" for cats, and they're too young, they end out doing weird stuff. Orange sucks blankets among other things, and there was another weird cat that sucked his toes... that was interesting.
That cat also ran around the house, clawing the rear-ends of guests that just so unluckily sat in open-backed chairs...
We've had odd pets. :P
I've met a lot of drooling cats... ;D
It's very strange. Orange didn't drool until very recently...
I wonder what encouraged him to do so. Also, I still wonder what my family's going to do to get him to stop...
