Here's the Alliteration Game!!! :D
Whoever uses the most words for one letter, wins. We will not take turns - first come first serve.
If one person's already used a letter, you have to use the next one, or not take the turn. If it's going kinda slow, I may take a turn, just to keep it going.
You can take more than one turn at a time, though that may not be much fun... I'm only saying that since it may become sluggish, and you may not want to wait for someone else to g; or maybe you'll want to have a certain letter.
Now, after making this once fun game sound like a total bore by dragging on about specific rules and details: have fun! :P
I'll start us off, and you can build off that. ;)
Ambling aardvarks ate angry Abby's artichokes.
-
Billy-Bob baked billions of burnt brown bran bagels on a bunsen burner.
-
I truly picked a bad time to do this. :P
Now that Cookiemonster isn't in school, she wont be able to get on the Internet that often.
Oh well, it could still be fun.
I'll just play, now! ;D
Climbing cougars crept carefully close to cows crunching cud contentedly in cramped crates.
Now if that made any sense in any sane way... ::)
-
Ya' can't switch sounds like that, or it's not alliteration--cows and chewing use different sounds of C
Dumb Dogs Dance Dizzily Damaging Dandelion Dandruff and Dealing Destruction Dandily.
Not that that makes any kind of sense at all...
-
Oops... :) :-[
Well - I suppose you learn something new everyday!
(Something your teacher probably taught you while you were day-dreaming.....)
*Laugh!!!* :D
Well mine just sounds absurd, now...
They must be really dehydrated.... crunching cud... maybe I should have said they were crunching cocoa-puffs, or cantaloupe, or califlower.... ah well, too late!
Everyone enjoys enchanting, eager, envelope eating, ear engravers as everlasting, echoing eggs in embers enjoy Edward....
Now that makes very, very little sense.... ;D
And, actually, yours reminds me of my family's puppy. :D
-
Envelope eating? Eeeew....
Anyway....
Frank fries fat frankfurters in a flaming fryer with four fabulous frogs.
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
Well, it could be worse! ;D
Granny-Gretta gets goofy with the goats as Grandpa-Granaldo gobbles grapes gladly, goggling at Gerald as he giggles at Gregory while Gwen grumbles grouchily to Gabe....
I'm the master at being strange.... 8)
-
Ya' did it again! George uses a softer "g" than the other words...
Anyway...(some of you other lurkers need to play...it's actually fun!)
Harry the Horse had a Harness Hewn of Heaps of Heavy Hair Hampering his height.
-
Oops :) ... in that case so does "Gen" and "gibberish...."
I need to be more aware of that! ;D
*Laugh!!!* :D
Would the harness weigh that much?
Impressive and interesting indigo imps are incredible at insinuating involuntary incantations of inlets interweaving.
It'd be strange to get a visual of that.....
-
Are you using a dictionary? You might should...that sentence didn't make much sense...
Joyful jumping jackrabbits join jerky jerking jerks.
J isn't a good letter for this...
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
I'm not trying to make sense!!! I'm using my imagination!!!!
(A scary thing to others; possibly harmful.)
Though perhaps I should start putting sense into my alliterations - if it's bothersome. :-[ ;D
At least I'm not breaking the rules anymore!
No, not really.... not really good at all. :)
Wait till we get to the really hard ones!!!
Karate kittens keep kooky kilts of Krazy-Glue and kelp to kill K'os in.
Poor K'os.... a bunch of kittens that know karate hate him. And they're out to get him.... it's a cult!!!

Looks Like Lost Letters Like "L" leave looming lapses in literary...um...games.
Quick! I need a word for games that starts with "L" to finish this!
Uh...though there does seem to have been a break in posting around here. Probably my fault, for vanishing.
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
Eh.
A letter for game that starts with "L..."
I'm gonna have to look for that. I'll get back to ya' later, on that one!
Many moping moose migrate from Montana in merry months to misinform a maitre d' of mice.
Odd... very odd...
-
could replace it with lameness

Harry the Horse had very long hair...
sorry, folks. Had to be done.
-
Actually... looks like Kitty went back, a few. 'Cuz I know that I did I before...
*Goes back and checks.*
So there was a reason as to why I kinda felt like I did G already, too...
With people like George and Gen, and other gargling people, or something like that.
So, I think we were actually on "N" when Kitty came on.
Now what?
Want to play on from here?
-
Sure, you lead.
-
I guess.... I'll start with N.
No one nearby nibbles the now nonexistent noble noodles.
-
Oliver olive opted to overestimate the omlet.

*Laugh!!!* :D
Purple People-eaters prepared for the poignant penguins and their piquant pasta.
Oops... you meant from I, didn't you?
Sorry...
-
Quickly Quark quilted the querrelous Quebecois with quaint quietness.
-
I'll come back to this, later, when I've more thoughts for this matter.
-
I think I deserve stupid points for taking the five minutes to think up and write out that entire ridiculous sentence.
-
Nah. I exalted you for it, that'll have to do.
-
Heh, fair enough. ^_^
-
Random rainfall can be remembered rejoicingly.
Heh... I'm being strange.

*Laugh!!!* :D
The typer totaled the toaster terrors in triumph with tinder.
Okay... now I'm being really strange... but a different kind of strange... that isn't really all that different.
-
Great...I get stuck with U...
(heh...that sounds funnier out loud)
Umbrellas undulate unerringly under ugly umber urchins.
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
Well I get V. :)

-
Which witch went where while whining with wicked white wholesale winches?
-
Whoa!
(heh...had to be done, I tell you)
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
Um... X?
I'm afraid that I'm going to use a dictionary, for that one... later.
-
Xerxes the xenophobic xylophonist x-rayed a xerox of xermoma.
Thank you, thank you. (bows)
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
*Applauds.*
I just got one again, really quick, to finish answering every topic, before heading off.
Is Xerxes an actual name?
I was gonna' use Xepher. ;D
Xenophobic and Xeroma are new ones, to me, too... I'll have to look those up. :)
Hm... I think I'd better do one, before it's done.
Hehehe... Y's easy.
Yoda does yoga while yodeling of yellow-green yams and yogurt from Yorkshire.
Who's doing the last one!?!
-
Xerxes is indeed an actual name. Was the name of a Persian king, I believe. I'll leave Z for someone other than me.
-
Yup, a persian king.
Z is too easily affiliated with zebras, and I'm at a writer's block. I'll leave it to someone who isn't stuck on the word "zebra."
-
Zoiks?
-
I'm not sure whether I should laugh or cry. ;D
My games aren't very succesfull... :P
But, hey, at least we got to Z. ;D
And now...?
... nobody's doing it, or, "Zoiks?" is it?
Should I just get it done with?
What does 'zoiks' mean?...
-
It's a reference to "Scooby Doo." It was a joke. Someone do Z.
-
I thought that was 'zoinks...' ;D
My misunderstanding. :P
I have to get off, right now... if nobody wants to, I'll just do it. :)
-
It is "zoinks". Ah, dang. I wasn't gonna reply 'cause I didn't wanna do "Z"..but you just had to misspell a Scooby-Doo related word. XD
Can I pass? I'm waiting for "f". >.>
-
T, U, X, Y, Z... and F?
(Sorry, had to.)
You can go ahead and do F, as an extra, anytime you want to. ;)
In fact, after this is done, if anyone thinks up some alliteration and wants to share it, go for it... not like that's gonna happen... but I'll just say it, anyway.
Hm... I think I'll give everyone a chance to get on, before I do it, myself.
Everyone's afraid of Z?
Hm... I was more bothered by the letter X... ;D
I just don't want to do one after another, and I don't want to be the one to finish this... :P
-
Meh...still got nothing but Zebras and Zoinks, and I can zee no vay to connect zeem.
-
*Sigh...* all right... next time I get on, if it's not done, no matter who's been on, I'll do it... :P
;D
-
I did X. It wore me out. I don't feel like doing Z. Make sense? :P
-
Heh...
Kay... here'goes.
A zucchini zeppelin of zorros playing zithers went zipping across zodiacs.

Huh... that sounds funny...
So'z... um... how about, everybody wins?
-
Dibs on awesomeness for taking Q, W, and X.
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
A' right, you get that. ;)
-
All very good, but you guys abuse the ability to string adjectives together. Use more adverbs instead to spice things up a bit.
Gloriously green goblin's grubs gamboled glamorously, in grossly gloppy, Gambodian glades.
See, this way it's much easier to see which words belong to which other words. --though part of that is the proper use of commas.
-
Huzzah for commas.
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
Yeah, commas are great...
Who's Nail?
-
Nail?
EDIT:
You mean Nailer, in Bloodreaper's sig?
-
Woops... ':D
Hehehe...
Yeah, that one. ;D
-
Nailer is a fictional character from a video game called "Space Colony"
Think "The Sims" but with a fixed palette of characters (the majority of whom are maladjusted lunatics, outcast from normal society and forced to live on the fringes of known space), and set in a series of space colonies run by a corporate entity that makes EA Games look like a caring, small town operation, of elderly minonnite women. Your boss is evil, and he forces you to work the people under your command to the limits of human endurance.
Because your characters are all nuts, they don't make friends easily, but being in a dangerous environment with a bunch of homicidal lunatics they don't know, just increases their stress levels. Unless you want Nailer to take a flamethrower to his room mates, it's important to make sure everyone has friends they see on a regular basis.
If he starts complaining that nobody talks to him, things are about to go downhill, unless you do something fast.
-
So... your running them like slaves, you've got to make everyone happy, and Nailer's the first to crack?
-
Nailer's always the first to crack.
-
*Laugh!!!* :D
That's an interesting game. ;D
